The Story of the Bell

This bell started life on the Model T firetruck for the village of Mosquero, New Mexico in the 1920's.  When the fire truck was retired the bell was acquired by my Uncle Charly and Aunt Addie to use as the dinner bell on the Pumroy ranch in NE New Mexico.  My grandad worked on the ranch and my mom grew up there for a few years.  When they sold the ranch the bell was kept in the family and I got it.

To add another connection, the retired Model T firetruck became my dad's first car

Every time I finish a knife I ring the bell.
